Aruba Cardigan Crochet Kit – Bamboo M and Mohair

Description

The Aruba Cardigan is a design that will help you develop your skills as a crocheter. It is worked in three pieces (back and two fronts) that are joined at the end, with three-quarter length sleeves worked together with the body: no shoulder seams! It combines double mesh lace stitch, vanilla stitch and garter stitch.

This kit has everything you need to get started: choose your size (XS to 2XL) and the color of the yarn (Casasol Bamboo M + Casasol Mohair), and the yarn you need to crochet your cardigan will arrive at your door. You can download the PDF pattern from your email after purchase.

THE KIT INCLUDES

• Balls of the yarn you choose (Casasol Bamboo M and Casasol Mohair) in the amount needed for your size (see table below). The finished cardigan is not included. If you want it longer or with a wider smoking-style collar, you can add extra balls (up to 3 balls) using the Extra bamboo balls and Extra mohair balls options.

The Aruba Cardigan is worked holding two strands together: a fine, lightweight bamboo yarn along with a mohair yarn that adds warmth to the texture and a fuzzy “halo” effect

*Aruba Cardigan length is 60 cm/23,5 in for all sizes. Pattern includes instruccions for customizing this length to your preference.

THE YARNS

• Casasol Bamboo M: 100% bamboo, 4-ply and 1 mm thick, silky feel and fluid drape. Ball of 100 g / 300 m (3.5 oz / 328 yds), fingering weight. Dyed with DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX® certification.
• Casasol Mohair: 15% mohair, 20% wool, 15% polyamide and 50% acrylic. Ball of 50 g / 450 m (1.8 oz / 492 yds), lace weight. Please note the pattern was designed with the previous version of this mohair; the current one keeps the same lace weight and the same meters per ball, but the new composition is much more pleasant to the touch.
• Hooks: 3.5 mm (E4) and 5 mm (H8), or whatever you need to match the pattern gauge.
