1. Who we are
This website, https://lanamalacrochet.com/en (the “Site”), is run by Ana Vázquez, trading as LANAMALA CROCHET (“we”, “us”), based in Madrid (Spain). You can reach us at info@lanamalacrochet.com.
2. What we sell
- Digital products: crochet patterns as downloadable PDFs, with a video tutorial when the product page says so. Some video tutorials have English audio, as stated on the product page.
- Physical products: kits (pattern + yarn), yarn and any other physical item listed in the shop.
By placing an order you confirm that you are of legal age in your country, and that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Shipping Policy, our Returns & Refunds Policy and our Privacy Policy.
3. Where we sell
We sell only to customers in the United States and Mexico. We do not ship to any other country. Digital products are delivered online.
4. Prices and payment
4.1. All prices and the shipping cost are shown in euros (EUR). Your card issuer may convert them to your local currency and charge you exchange or card fees; these are outside our control.
4.2. Shipping for physical items is a flat rate of €84.99 per order, shown before you confirm your order.
4.3. Duties and taxes. We do not charge sales tax. Prices do not include customs duties, import taxes (including local VAT or similar taxes) or customs fees in your country. As the buyer, you are responsible for paying them.
4.4. We may change prices at any time. The price you see when you confirm your order is the price you pay.
4.5. Payments are made by the methods shown at checkout (credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) through WooPayments. We do not see or store your full card details. Your order is processed once payment is confirmed.
5. Placing an order
5.1. You add items to your cart, enter your billing and (for physical items) shipping details, choose a payment method and confirm. Before confirming you can review and correct your order.
5.2. After you confirm, you will receive an order confirmation email. The contract is formed at that moment.
5.3. We may cancel or decline an order in case of an obvious pricing or description error, lack of stock or suspected fraud. If so, we will tell you and refund any amount you paid.
5.4. You can place an order as a guest; creating a customer account is optional.
6. Shipping
Ana ships physical orders personally. Delivery times, costs, customs and what to do if something goes wrong are explained in our Shipping Policy, which is part of these Terms.
7. Returns and refunds
We do not accept returns or give refunds for change of mind on physical or digital products, and digital products (PDF patterns) are not refundable once downloaded. Full details, including what happens if your order arrives damaged or wrong, are in our Returns & Refunds Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property and pattern licence
8.1. All patterns, texts, photos, videos, designs and logos on the Site belong to Ana Vázquez (or are used under licence) and are protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2. Buying a pattern gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download it and use it for your own use.
8.3. Without our written permission you may not share, copy, redistribute, publish, upload to other platforms, resell or give away the PDFs, videos or their content, in whole or in part, free or paid, nor modify them and present them as your own.
8.4. Selling finished items made from our patterns is not permitted without our written permission.
8.5. Breaking this section may lead to cancellation of your access without refund and to legal action.
9. Product information and safety
9.1. We describe each product (materials, format, difficulty, pattern and video language) on its page. Photos are illustrative. Yarn colours may vary slightly depending on your screen and the dye lot.
9.2. The final result of an item you crochet depends on your tension, technique and materials, and is not a product defect.
9.3. Kits and yarn are craft materials containing small parts and cords. Keep them away from young children without supervision.
10. Liability
10.1. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse of products, for temporary unavailability of the Site due to technical causes beyond our control, or for failures of third-party services (payment providers, carriers, email, internet connection), to the extent permitted by law.
10.2. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have by law that cannot be excluded.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and the courts of Madrid (Spain) will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence that cannot be waived. We would always rather solve things directly: write to info@lanamalacrochet.com first.
12. Language and changes
These Terms are written in English for the English site. If there is any discrepancy between the English and Spanish versions, the English version prevails for orders placed on the English site. We may update these Terms; each order is governed by the version in force when you placed it.
