Thick bamboo yarn with body and great yardage

Casasol’s thick bamboo yarn Bamboo L combines 6 plies, 1.5 mm thickness and 200 g / 400 m balls. It is worked with a 3–5 mm hook and gives garments more body than the M version, without losing its drape. It is 100% bamboo: fresh, breathable, with a silky feel and DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX® certified dye.

With 200 g per ball it goes a long way: it’s great for sweaters, vests, mid-season tops and wide shawls. There are 20 colours, from soft pastels to deep shades, to combine or use on their own. Tip: knit a swatch and block it with gentle moisture before you start. If you prefer a lighter garment, take a look at the M version.
