Xanath Poncho Kit – Luxury Silk

Xanath is an elegant, lightweight poncho worked in Vanilla Stitch, a texture that has been part of some of my most special designs for years.

Its name means “vanilla flower” in Totonac and is inspired by an ancient legend about the origin of vanilla. A name that fits a design made to be enjoyed slowly, stitch by stitch.

The poncho is worked in Casasol Luxury, a premium silk yarn with a soft feel, fluid drape and a delicate sheen that transforms the Vanilla Stitch texture and gives the garment a sophisticated, special finish.

It is built from two simple rectangles, joined with an original crochet technique that turns the join itself into part of the design.

The kit includes:

• 250 g (5 balls) of Casasol Luxury yarn, enough to crochet a poncho measuring approximately 80 cm wide and 66 cm long (31.5 × 26 inches). The finished poncho is not included. You can choose the colour of your kit between hazelnut and flower, the two exclusive colours of this range. The colour shown in the photographs is hazelnut.
