Luz Top Crochet Kit – Cupcake Cotton

Description

The Luz Top is an innovative crochet top worked in one continuous piece, with no visible seams. It looks like a cardigan, but its clever construction makes it a fully closed garment at the front: the flap and the buttons are purely decorative!

Cropped in length, it is easy to make longer by adding more chains at the start. The openwork stitch combines little bubbles and crosses for an elegant texture inspired by the “coquette” style, perfect to add a chic, modern touch to your handmade wardrobe. Every join is made with the crochet hook itself: no sewing required.

This kit has everything you need to get started: choose your size (from XXS to 3XL) and your colour from the 10 shades of the Cupcake range, and receive the right amount of yarn for your top, together with the pattern in PDF.

THE KIT INCLUDES

• Casasol Cupcake cotton yarn in the amount needed for your size (see the table below). The finished top is not included. You can choose the colour of your kit from the 10 available options. The kit is prepared to crochet the Luz Top in its cropped version. If you prefer a longer top, add what you need with the “Add extra balls” option (from 1 to 4 balls): for all sizes you will need at least 2 more balls.

CUPCAKE COTTON YARN

Composition: 100% Egyptian cotton grown in the Nile Valley, with a soft, silky feel that doesn’t dry out your hands and glides beautifully over the hook.

Weight: fingering · Ball: 50 g / 180 m (1.75 oz / 197 yd)

Recommended crochet hook: 3 mm (US D/3), or the size needed to match the pattern’s gauge (one size larger is recommended for the ribbing). Not included in the kit.

Certifications: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and BSCI.

You will also need (not included): 6–8 decorative buttons depending on the size, stitch markers, scissors, a yarn needle and a tape measure.
